1. Full-time ABS Scholarship
Up to the value of £1,000
This scholarship is based on an evaluation of the applicant’s career history, academic ability, merit and potential as an MBA student. The award of this scholarship will be based on the application form, supporting documents and interview. These Scholarships are available for self –funded applicants only.

2. Full-time Mindful Global Manager Scholarship
Up to the value of £5,500
Applicants for this scholarship need to demonstrate self-awareness and leadership skills. To apply for this scholarship the applicant should prepare a three page power point presentation showing:
• an example of your leadership qualities
• a clear understanding of your strengths and weaknesses as a leader
• how the Aston MBA may be able to help your leadership development
The award of this scholarship will be based on the presentation of the slides at interview. These Scholarships are available for self-funded applicants only.
All applicants with a GMAT score of 680 and above will automatically be considered for this Scholarship.

Full-time ABS Merit Scholarship

Kingston University awards, in total, over £200,000 worth of scholarships every year to international students* from over 30 different countries. Each scholarship is worth £3,300 per year of study.

Postgraduate awards

Northumbria announces January 2013 incentives for students and agents with a generous scholarship scheme and upgraded agent commission offer

£1,000 January Student Scholarships

In order to promote our range of courses starting in January 2013, Northumbria University is announcing a minimum of 1,000 GBP scholarship per students (applied as a reduction in the tuition fee) for all students who apply via an agent or directly. Existing partnership arrangements are excluded.  These automatic scholarships cover our range of January full-time postgraduate and undergraduate courses (excluding distance learning courses). Students do not need to apply for the scholarship, as provided they receive an offer and they meet the conditions the scholarship will be deducted from the fee. Subjects included in this scheme (full list shown below) include Business, Computing, Engineering, Built and Natural Environment, Health and Life Sciences, Arts, Social Sciences and Design. The scholarships also include design courses offered at our London Campus. All qualified students will receive these £1,000 scholarships, but in some cases highly qualified students may be eligible to receive even higher awards for January entry. Queen’s University Management School is pleased to announce a number of new International MBA scholarships for home/EU and international postgraduate students commencing their studies in September 2013. To be eligible for these scholarships, a student must:

  • have firmly accepted their offer from Queen’s University Management School by 15 July 2013
  • satisfy the eligibility conditions for the specific scholarship and the terms and conditions
  • be self-funding: students whose fees are fully paid by a sponsor such as an employer or government are not eligible

A student must be fully enrolled for the academic year to be entitled to a scholarship.

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Postgraduate Scholarships for Indian Students

Queen’s University Belfast is offering a total of 60 Dr A.P.J. Kalam Scholarships to qualified engineering students from India who are commencing their Masters in September 2013 at one of the following Queen's Schools:

Teesside University are offering a £3,000* scholarship for international students to study for a full-time MBA (Master of Business Administration) at Teesside University Business School for September 2013 entry.

MBA at Teesside University – what you study
You build on your existing management and leadership experience and skills. Our postgraduate course covers the core business framework involving the management of people, finance, information, operations and markets. You focus on strategic leadership and innovation, and enhance your ability to lead and manage change.

Expect a strategic focus on the major functional areas of business, incorporating an element of choice and flexibility, moving on to examine organisational strategy and current issues. You design an applied research project which leads to the completion of your dissertation.

Scholarships for MSc in Robotics

Scholarships of £5000 are now available for successful applicants (Home/EU/ international fee status) to the MSc Robotics programme at the University of Birmingham. This MSc programme is for graduates from any numerate science or engineering discipline. Students will learn the theory and practice of robotic control, artificial intelligence for robotics, robot vision, robot manipulation and software frameworks for mobile robots and robot manipulators. You will undertake two short projects on current research within the Intelligent Robotics Lab. We will also arrange industrial placements for our students with leading robotics companies in the region and around the UK. Entrants to the programme should have had some exposure to programming. A pre-semester course in programming for those not adept in C/C++ or Java will be offered.

Over the last two years Salford has awarded over £1.5 million in scholarships to international students, making it the largest scholarship scheme of its kind in the UK. The University of Salford has two awards open to Indian students: the Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship and the India Country Discount.

1) Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Postgraduate candidates must hold a first class degree from India, or an equivalent qualification from overseas.

  • Undergraduate candidates must have achieved excellent Standard XII grades (including in English), or equivalent qualifications from overseas.

  • Candidates must confirm their acceptance of the scholarship and their intention to enrol at The University of Salford, by accepting their unconditional offer of a place and paying a £3,000 deposit, so that a Certificate of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) to support a visa application may be issued.

School of Biosciences Scholarships for International MSc students

The School of Biosciences is offering ten scholarships for postgraduate Master’s study, each with a value of £2,000, in order to provide financial assistance to well-qualified students paying overseas fees.

This Scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic excellence as assessed by the entry qualifications for each postgraduate programme. Eligible applicants will automatically be considered for this Scholarship and there is no need to make a separate application for this award.

The School of Biosciences reserves the right not to allocate this award to any individual applicant it considers ineligible.

Eligibility criteria are as follows:

  • The student must be an overseas fee payer

  • The student must have applied for one of our Master's programmes (Biotechnology and Engineering, Cancer Biology, Drug Design, Reproductive Medicine: Science and Ethics, Science, Communication and Society, or MSc by research) before June 1st 2013.

  • The student must meet any conditions of the offer to study, e.g. GPA, degree classification, English Language qualifications

  • The Scholarship is dependent upon continued good standing and will be released in December 2013 to ensure that good academic progress has been achieved

  • The student can hold the School of Biosciences together with other scholarships for which they are eligible (e.g. International Scholarship for Taught Master’s students, Kent Cancer Trust Scholarship). Scholarship holders would be expected to undertake reasonable duties to support the external profile of the School of Biosciences, for instance assisting with Open Days, outreach with the local community, working with the International Development team, and promoting the School of Biosciences in their home countries.

 

Transport the World Masters Scholarship


The Institute for Transport Studies (ITS), University of Leeds, is offering a fees scholarship worth £7500, to provide a unique opportunity to a student of outstanding ability, achievement and potential. The scholarship will fund 50% of the fees for an international student to undertake a full-time Masters degree programme at ITS. The scholarship forms part of the ITS mission to advance the understanding of global transport, via the development of skills and best practice. It offers a £5,000 reduction in the tuition fee for the first year of study only.
To apply for any of the above scholarships, you must be holding an offer for academic study for October 2013 (later dates acceptable for PhD). The deadline for all applications is 30 April 2013.

The Dean's International Postgraduate Research Scholarships for the Faculty of Science

The Faculty of Science offers a limited number of full-time postgraduate research scholarships to outstanding international students wishing to undertake a research doctorate degree (PhD) in the Faculty of Science. Applications are sought from top-performing students currently enrolled in the final year of either a four-year Bachelors degree in Science or a four-year Bachelors/Honours/Masters degree in Science, at an international university. The final year of the degree must include an independent research component which accounts for a minimum of 25% of the final year marks awarded. The award of the scholarship is competitive on the basis of academic merit.

Amount awarded
The scholarship consists of the full cost of academic tuition fees plus a stipend equivalent to an Australian Postgraduate Award indexed annually (APA stipend rates for 2013 are $24,653 for full-time students), and is awarded for three years, subject to satisfactory progress, with a possible extension of up to a maximum of one year.

Closing date
To be considered for the 2014 Semester Two (commencing August 2014), Dean’s International Postgraduate Research Scholarship, applicants must satisfy eligibility criteria. Applications for admission to the PhD program in the Faculty of Science and submission of the online scholarship form must be completed by 30 September 2013.

Conditions of award
There are a limited number of Dean’s International Postgraduate Research Scholarships, and applicants should be aware that they are awarded on an academic merit-based, competitive basis.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  1. Be currently enrolled in the final year of either a four-year Bachelors degree in Science or a four-year Bachelors/Honours/Masters degree in Science, at an international university (a non-Australian university). The final year of the degree must include a research component which accounts for a minimum of 25% of the marks awarded.;

  2. Have achieved a GPA greater than 85 or an average A grade, or have a relevant subject specific GPA of 90, or equivalent;

  3. May not be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or hold permanent residency in Australia;

  4. Be commencing full time postgraduate study at the University for the first time;

  5. Not be in receipt of any other tuition fee scholarship;

  6. Successfully complete their 4th year of their current Bachelors Degree in Science meeting the academic requirements of the scholarship and complete in time to commence studies at the University of Sydney in Semester 2 2014.

Selection process
Selection for a Dean’s International Postgraduate Research Scholarship is a merit-based and highly competitive process. Candidates will be selected in accordance with the following criteria:

  • Demonstrated academic excellence through current studies; and

  • Demonstrated high quality, innovative research capacity.

Applications will be reviewed and final selections decided by a committee comprising senior University of Sydney academic staff, and may include international representatives. The final selection of Dean’s International Postgraduate Research Scholarship candidates will be completed in November. Offer letters will be issued to successful applications shortly thereafter.

Ireland India Institute Scholarships


The Ireland India Institute Scholarships support talented and ambitious Indian students and early career researchers with a record of academic excellence to continue their studies in any faculty at Dublin City University.

Ten scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis to high achieving undergraduate and postgraduate students as part of the DCU International Scholarships 2013/14.

Ireland India Institute Undergradate Scholarship

  • 5 Undergraduate Tuition Fee Scholarships of €3,000 each for 1st Year and €2,000 for subsequent years

Ireland India Institute Postgradate Scholarship

  • 5 Postgraduate Taught Masters Tuition Fee Scholarships of €2,000 each

  • In order to be eligible to apply you must be an national of India and studying in Ireland for the first time when entering Dublin City University
  • Be a high achiever with an excellent academic record
  • Hold and have accepted an offer or a conditional offer by 30th June 2013 for a full-time Undergraduate or Postgraduate programme at Dublin City University for entry in Sept. 2013
  • Be classified as a non-EU student for fee purposes and have permanent residency in India
  • Submit the scholarship application online from 30th April 2013 to 30th June 2013
  • Late applicants cannot be considered for the scholarship

Study Credit Scheme and
Merit Scholarship for 2013


We are pleased to announce Study Credit Scheme and Merit Scholarship for 2013.

Students will get $2000/$2500 Study Credit Grant for Bachelor and PG programmes respectively, and eligible students can even apply for Merit Scholarship worth $4000.

University of Wales students for April / June intake will be eligible for UOW Education Grant of $4000 and will not be eligible for Study Credit Grant.

  • Study Credit will be deducted from the last installment.
